Brady Richter

Bio & Expertise: Hailing from the northern suburbs of Chicago, Brady Richter began tutoring in 2015 after graduating from Stanford University with a BS in Product Design. What originally started as a side job to support his theatre career became a passion. After teaching SAT prep classes in several Chicago public high schools, he knew that he wanted to pursue a career in education.

After moving to NYC in 2018, he and two like-minded friends started N3rdish, a channel that live-streamed free ACT and SAT prep three nights a week in the hopes of reaching students who couldn’t afford private tutoring. While he and his friends ultimately decided to end the project after two years, all of their streams and videos are still available to any student for free.

Drawing from his background in theater and comedy, Brady strives to put his students at ease with humor during their sessions to maximize learning potential. In 2023, Brady graduated from Hunter College with an MA in Physics Adolescent Education, certifying him as a public high school teacher. While he has chosen to remain a full-time tutor, he uses his teacher training to inform his curriculum design.

Fun Fact: Outside of education, his passion is social dance - West Coast Swing in particular. He usually dances two nights a week, and he competes at WCS exchanges in other cities.
