Jacqueline Levine

Bio & Expertise: With 30 years of experience working with students (grades 2 through college) with learning challenges, Jackie Levine teaches students HOW to learn in addition to remediating reading decoding, comprehension, fluency, all aspects of the writing process, and executive functions. She has experience teaching mathematics through algebra, especially for those with math anxiety. Jackie tailors her approach to a student's individual needs empowering her students by building their self-esteem. She is a learning specialist who is NYS certified in reading and special education (K-12). 

Jackie has taught at the elementary, middle, and high school levels and in three different states (NY, CA, and AZ). She loves working on bridging the gap between a student's skill level and the school curriculum. Rather than being reliant on one program, Jackie utilizes an eclectic approach. She engages her students to make learning exciting while weaving research into WHY techniques and programs make a difference.

Fun Fact: Assignment due at 11:59 pm? Jackie Zooms late at night (usually in pajama bottoms). She calls herself the #LateNightLearningSpecialist.
