Jane Moskowitz

Bio & Expertise: A native New Yorker, I was born and raised on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and attended The Dalton School. After graduating from Duke University in 2012 with a degree in Psychology, I went on to get my master's at Bank Street in Literacy and Childhood General Education. As a classroom teacher at Stephen Gaynor School, I spent several years supporting students with language-based learning differences. In 2020, I decided to establish my own educational practice because I felt I could effect more meaningful change working one-on-one with students. I am trained in Orton-Gillingham, Self-Regulated Strategy Development and The Hochman Approach to writing, and Stern and Singapore mathematics. I am passionate about working with students who are unique learners and using evidence-based practices to effectively reach each individual child.

When Iā€™m not teaching, you can find me on the Upper West Side with my husband Jeremy, three-year-old Jack, 7-month-old Gracie, and our sweet 7-year-old Golden Retriever Josie!
