Kim Kramer

Bio & Expertise: Kim Kramer, M.S. Ed, M.S., CCC-SLP, TSHH, C-SLDS, is a Speech-Language-Pathologist, Certified Structured Dyslexia Specialist, and Learning Specialist with over 25 years of experience in the field. Kim has Master’s Degrees in Special Education and Speech-Language Pathology, CERI certification as a Certified Structured Dyslexia Specialist (Orton-Gillingham), a license as a Teacher of Hearing Handicapped (TSHH), and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA).

Kim has post graduate trainings and certificates in P.R.O.M.P.T. (level II), Beckman
Oral Motor, Oral-Motor (Talk Tools), PAF (level II), Writing Revolution, Orton-Gillingham (AOGPE and IMSE), Auditory Processing (ListenLoveLearn method), Sounds Fun! (Collaborated on the program), Sounds in Motion, and It Takes Two To Talk (Hanen Program).

Kim has worked in the NYC Board of Education, Roosevelt Hospital Children’s Center, and EI and CPSE agencies. She started her private practice in 2003. Kim works closely with the New York City private and public preschools and K-12 schools. Kim has presented numerous workshops to parent support groups, preschools, and ongoing schools. She is licensed in NY, CT, and ME.

Fun Fact:  I love to play games and am a tournament Mah Jongg player.
